Does any of this sound familiar?
- A harsh inner voice that points out every mistake and never mentions what went well.
- Brushing off compliments, while criticism stays with you for days.
- Holding back from things you want, because you're sure you'll fall short.
- Comparing yourself to others and always coming up behind.
You weren't born feeling this way.
How we see ourselves is usually learned, often early in life, from the people and experiences around us. A belief formed in a difficult moment can quietly outlive the moment. You shouldn't have to earn your worth every day, and you don't have to change that story on your own.
